The Camp Director is the onsite representative of iD, responsible for fostering a FUN and SAFE environment in which students are able to learn new technology and think creatively! With the support and guidance of a nationwide team, the Director leads a team of instructors in the day-to-day program operations. In addition to maintaining the satisfaction of all students, parents, staff and university contacts, the Director will act as the Health Care Administrator and will dispense all camper medications and perform camper health assessments. As the onsite staff supervisor, the Director will coach every staff member in developing and demonstrating professional behaviors. At locations with an overnight program, the Director is required to stay on campus.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Previous camp or managerial experience is required. Camp Directors must demonstrate impeccable judgment, strong organizational skills, and be able to communicate effectively via email, cell phone, and hand-written documents. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Drive/Docs/Sheets). In addition, the candidate must have a background working with kids and teens. Knowledge of computer networking and/or curriculum software is a plus. The ideal candidate would have a college degree in a related field. Must be certified in Adult & Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED prior to the first day of work. Some jurisdictions require Directors to be at least 25 years old (by the start of camp). Based on work location, candidates may be required to provide proof of vaccinations, including for COVID-19.

This position is eligible for 401(k) once eligibility requirements are met and other benefits as required by state or local law.
